This novel is a sequel to ‘The First Cut’ and to ‘Behind the Screens’. Writing it has been quite a challenge, but one which I have enjoyed.

From the first time that innocent, naive, young Doctor Lambert and his idiosyncratic senior consultant colleagues entered my life and introduced me to my patients, they have become alive in my mind and developed into good friends. I hope that you enjoy their company as well. I do not intend to say goodbye to them just yet. I hope to continue the story with a further book to be published in 2016.
